Andy Griffith is an American actor, director, producer, singer and writer, born on June 1, 1926, in Mount Airy, North Carolina. With these many talents, there is no surprise that he became one of the greatest personalities of the United States and one of the world’s biggest actors and musicians. He grew up constantly listening to music, so no wonder he is such a talented, Grammy-awarded singer. He recorded 17 albums, he featured in many films and he did a lot of television work.
